An alleged illicit sexual relationship between a Goodyear teacher and her 13-year-old student started with a message on a school app.
Las Brisas Academy elementary teacher Brittany Zamora asked her sixth-grade students to message her on an online instruction app called Class Craft because she was going to be bored at school one day.
But police say a message from one male student quickly turned into flirting and then evolved into a sexual relationship between the then-27-year-old and her barely teenage pupil.
Records obtained by The Arizona Republic provide additional detail about Zamora's alleged sexual misconduct with the student. Video, police interviews and Zamora's arrest captured on body-worn cameras describe how Zamora and the boy had sex multiple times in her car and classroom — once with another male student in the room.
The two even sexually touched each other while oblivious students watched a video, records show. Source

Russia may fine ‘large waistlines’ in a bid to reduce obesity, copying Japan which instituted the practice a decade ago, according to Moscow’s health and consumer rights watchdog.
Japan made it illegal in 2008 for citizens between 40 and 74 years old to exceed the state-prescribed limit of 85 centimeters for male waistlines and 90 centimeters for female waistlines. Russia is on a drive to reduce obesity and improve nutrition as part of President Vladimir Putin’s national goals signed after his inauguration in May 2018, which included calls to ensure sustainable natural population growth, reported The Moscow Times.
Russian citizens famously attempt to eat very well and spend a lot of time usually in the kitchen preparing fresh vegetables. However, obesity is still a problem, especially in the outlying regions. Source

British schoolgirl who joined Islamic State wants to return home
An east London schoolgirl who left Britain as a 15-year-old to join the Islamic State group is now heavily pregnant and wants to come home.
Shamima Begum was tracked down by The Times to a refugee camp in northern Syria where she is now 19-years-old, the bride of an Islamic State fighter, nine months pregnant and has had two infant children who are dead. Her husband is in captivity. Stating that “I don’t regret coming here,” she told The Times: “I’m not the same silly little 15-year-old schoolgirl who ran away from Bethnal Green four years ago.”

Police in Boston have arrested an Uber driver who's been accused of sexually assaulting a female passenger after she turned down his cash-for-sex offer.
Jose Arevalos-Avalos, 37, from Holliston, has been charged with indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, and an additional charge of attempting sexual solicitation.
Ashland police were summoned by the unnamed woman on Friday afternoon, who alleged she'd been sexually assaulted by the driver. She told officers she'd ordered an Uber to take her to work, when Arevalos-Avalos arrived in a gray Toyota Corolla. The 37-year-old allegedly offered her $100 for sex during the journey, and, when she refused, Arevalos-Avalos is reported to have put his hands between the passengers legs and sexually assaulted her. Hundreds of fans have paid tribute to a 24-year-old musician gunned down behind his Nashville home in what is believed to have been a robbery-gone-awry.
Five underage suspects were arrested Friday and charged with criminal homicide for the murder of Kyle Yorlets, a graduate of Belmont University who worked as a bartender at a Nashville restaurant and sang in the pop-rock band Carverton.
Three of the five suspects arrested Friday in connection with Yorlets' murder were named by police as Roniyah McKnight, 14, Decorrius Wright, 16, and Diamond Lewis, 15.
The names of the two youngest suspects, a 12-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy, have been withheld because of their age
According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police, the five kids were in a stolen Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck in the alley that runs behind Yorlets' house in the 32000 block of Torbertt Street when they spotted him outside on Thursday afternoon.
The minors allegedly accosted the man, took his wallet and demanded the keys to his car, which he refused to hand over, prompting the suspects to open fire on him, police stated.
The mortally-wounded victim managed to make it inside his home, where he was found by one of his roommates at 3pm. Source
