The 26-year-old was walking for fashion brand Ocksa when he collapsed on stage. A MALE model who died after collapsing on the catwalk during Sao Paulo's Fashion Week may have had an undiagnosed congenital illness, doctors said. Tales Soares, 26, was attended to by paramedics in front of horrified onlookers after being taken ill during a show for fashion brand Ocksa yesterday evening.Many initially thought his fall was part of the performance but the devastating realisation dawned on the crowd when paramedics rushed to the stage. He was whisked to Accident and Emergency in Brazil but sadly couldn't be saved and was later pronounced dead, show organisers said. Footage showed him turning around as he approached the top of the catwalk before he appeared to stagger and fall face-first to the ground. According to Folha Press, Tales reportedly tripped on his shoelace before he fell and was later seen foaming at the mouth. Source

Waffle House murder victim was paying for others' meals, handing out cash

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in Florida say a 41-year-old man was fatally shot after he got into an argument with a man at a restaurant. The Alachua County Sheriff's Office says Craig Brewer was shot and killed early Sunday at a Waffle House restaurant in Gainesville, located about four miles from the University of Florida campus. Deputies say that Brewer was paying for some customers' meals and 'passing out' $20 bills to other customers when the shooting happened.A female customer reportedly got into a verbal altercation with Brewer because he did not pay for her meal. “It really does make you wonder,” said Lt. Rhodenizer. “How did it go so bad so fast?” 25-year-old Ezekiel Hicks was said to be at the restaurant with the female involved in the altercation. So, Hicks then also began arguing with Brewer. At one point, Hicks exited the Waffle House on his own and armed himself with a 9mm Glock pistol. Upon re-entering the Waffle House, the arrest report stated that Hicks approached Brewer. They became engaged in a physical altercation, which only lasted a few seconds, as Hicks soon fired multiple rounds into Brewer. Surveillance video captured the shooting. Hicks was arrested near the restaurant. Source

A doctor in his 40s punched a 12-year-old boy in a 'ski rage' attack after the child fell into him on a beginners slope at a northern New Jersey resort. Samuel Caruthers, now 47, was accused of punching the boy and stabbing him with a ski pole on February 14, 2016, after the child fell into Caruthers and his then-10-year-old son while snowboarding on the bunny slope at the Mountain Creek resort in Vernon. Caruthers was found guilty of child endangerment, assault and a weapons charge on Wednesday. A Sussex County jury acquitted Caruthers of two weapons charges while handing down the other guilty verdicts. .He faces up to seven years in prison, which is set to be determined at a sentencing hearing next month.   Caruthers' attorney, George Daggett, said he will seek to overturn the 'contradictory' jury verdict. Edna Mabel Longoria, 39, was charged last week with having an improper relationship with the student at Veterans' Memorial High School in Mission. The health science teacher turned herself into police last Thursday after the student notified school administrators of their alleged sexual relationship.The teen boy told police he had engaged in multiple sexual encounters with Longoria in a classroom at the school. Investigators then 'located multiple biological fluids' from the classroom where the boy said the sexual encounters occurred, according to the arrest affidavit. The boy told police the alleged encounters started on February 22. Police also obtained texts and Snapchat messages between the pair that they described as 'inappropriate' and contained 'material of sexual nature'. Source

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman said they had received a report of a possible shooting or stabbing. Dramatic footage showed the moment a stampede broke out as terrified fans fled across the parking lot where the memorial was being held. Police are racing to find the known gang member wanted in connection with Nipsey Hussle's murder who is now feared to be the subject of a gang hit. Late on Monday, police named 29-year-old Eric Holder, a known member of the Rollin' 60s gang, as the suspect in Hussle's murder. Police sources say he and the rapper were known to one another and that it was a gang-related killing but they have not revealed further details or suggested a motive but they say it was 'personal' and had not been ordered by gang leaders. A press conference where they will give more details has been scheduled for 11.30am EST. Now, it is being claimed online that he has been 'green lit' by the Crips, the gang to which he belonged and allegedly 'snitched' on, to be killed. There is now a race between the LAPD and the gang's members to find him. Hussle was a hero in southern L.A. where he was trying to legitimize gang members by developing the area and eradicating violence. Source
