  2. I was there.. I was there at the hospital when he passed. He was one of my best friends and I miss him every day. I am out of camera shot in the video as i did not know the Haka they were performing though I wish i did. We talked the night before he attempted suicide. I wish he told me what he was feeling. If i go through my life only to have one regret it would be that I was not there for him when he needed me and my mates the most... Fly high brother.

    1. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend, Anon. I lost my best friend at around the same age, and I know the pain that this causes. Depression is a terrible disease that is unpredictable. It lies to you. It tells you that people don't care about you; it tells you that they would be better off without you; it tells you that you have nothing to life for. Please understand that and know that your friend was not in his right mind when he took his life. You cannot change the past, but you can help yourself and others in the future. If you need help, ask for it. If you know a friend that needs help, tell them that there is no weakness in seeking assistance. I wish you health and happiness.

    2. The grief is so much now so weighted so saturated as to make the reunion all the more galorious when we meet again. I have lost many in my sphere to suicide over the years I pressed on as if it was never a problem or with a resentful heart as to harden myself from the desperate greif that their loss has on so many. In the end all will be made whole that is what this life and our eventual death is about. I wish the best for your friends and his family to live a blessed healthy life and carry his legacy onward till each end.

  4. I keep seeing this video all over online. My condolences to you and everyone involved. I cried watching it. So much emotion in that war dance. Much love from Ohio!

  5. I've watched this so many times. Each time I sob as I mourn with you. I can not think of a more beautiful way to honor your friend. May Jarom's soul rest in peace until the Great Spirit wraps him in his arms.
