A 66-year-old woman battling cancer died alone inside her Brooklyn apartment that mysteriously caught ablaze Saturday night, officials say.
Edwina Faith Golas was found unconscious inside her home on the third floor of the complex located on 94th street near Shore Road in Bay Ridge.
Firefighters responded to an upstairs neighbor's call on the matter, and a rescue team arrived to scene around 11:30 p.m., when they successfully distinguished the flames, according to the Brooklyn Reporter. Daily Mail>>>>>>>
