Hours after four people were shot, one fatally in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter on Hudson Avenue, Rochester police are investigating to determine what led to the deadly encounter. Here's what we currently know about the incident: What happened in the Walmart parking lot? Four people were shot, one fatally, in the parking lot at 1490 Hudson Ave. shortly before 1 a.m. Monday. Rochester Police Capt. Frank Umbrino said that an 18-year-old man died as a result of gunfire outside the Walmart SuperCenter, 1490 Hudson Ave. He and three others were taken to Rochester General Hospital by private vehicle. The young man was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived at the hospital. A 43-year-old man was shot in the upper body, suffered serious injuries and is "fighting for his life," Umbrino said. Two others — a 23-year-old man and a 31-year-old man — were both shot in the lower body and suffered injuries not considered life-threatening, he said. Source
